Who we are and why we care
We’re Dr Asan Akpan and Dr Ola Otaiku, and we started South West Gerontology because we believe older adults deserve care that truly listens and understands. It’s not just about medical treatment – it’s about making life better for you and your loved ones.

A referral from your GP or specialist is usually required, but feel free to contact us for guidance on the next steps.
Where do consultations take place?
We see people at St John of God Specialist Centre at 114 Spencer Street in Bunbury and also at the St John of God Bunbury Hospital. Telehealth and home visits may also be available.
